AdveNom®

Different hands. Held together by the work.

Advenom is not built around a single founder story. It is built around people who know how to do different things well.
Some understand forests.
Some understand food. Some understand climbing skin, endurance, and what long days outside actually demand from the body.

The people behind the work include SHG women, farmers, climbers, cooks, food scientists, tribal knowledge holders, Ayurveda practitioners, designers, and a small team that spends more time testing things outside than sitting in meetings.

Most of this work happens in and around Chhattisgarh, where the workshop and ingredient networks are rooted. Testing happens wherever people are actually using the products — forests, climbing areas, long treks, and Himalayan expeditions. No single person here “owns” the idea. Everyone simply carries a different piece of the work.

Who Works Here

Some of the people behind this work learned it long before the brand existed. A few of the mothers in our team used to prepare similar foods for family members leaving on long journeys — expeditions, forest work, or seasonal travel. Those ideas still quietly influence how many of the recipes begin.

Around them sits a wider group: farmers who grow ingredients, SHG women who process them, cooks who adapt traditional recipes, climbers who test things where they actually matter, food scientists who help refine stability, and a small group of designers and product builders who turn all of that into something practical to carry.

Different people. Different skills. One shared objective — make things that actually work outside.

Where Most of the Work Happens

Why We Don’t List Individual Names

People often ask why the brand doesn’t highlight individual founders or “star makers”. The simple answer is that the work doesn’t really happen that way.

Most of the people involved are part of collectives, SHGs, research groups, farms, climbing communities, or independent practices. The work moves between these groups rather than sitting with one individual.

Ideas come from many directions. Field experience informs design. Kitchen realities reshape recipes. Scientific inputs refine formulations. Decisions are discussed, tested, sometimes argued over, and eventually improved. It’s not a top-down system. It’s a working ecosystem of people trying to do things properly. Names matter less than the work itself.

Visit the Workshop

The main Advenom workshop sits in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh.
Visits are possible, but only by booking a slot in advance so someone from the team can actually walk you through the place. You’ll see where ingredients arrive, how small batches are prepared, and how different parts of the work connect across farms, kitchens, and field testing. Researchers, athletes, SHG groups, and curious travellers pass through from time to time.A few areas stay off-limits — every workshop has its quiet corners. But if you’re interested in how things are built, you’re welcome to stop by.
