What Monkey Skin Is

This is not cosmetic skin care.
Monkey Skin is a functional skin compound developed for hands exposed to repeated abrasion, friction, chalk, dust, and weather. It is designed to slow skin breakdown and support surface recovery, so cumulative damage does not escalate into failure.
It is used by people whose hands are part of their work — not their appearance.

Low residue application

No greasy residue. Get back to work in 5 Minutes.

No cosmetic modifier

No added perfume, Only natural ingredients at its best.

Consistency over volum

Effectiveness depends on restrained, repeated use — not heavy application.

What’s the difference between Oil and Wax?

Monkey Skin Oil and Monkey Skin Wax serve different purposes. Both are effective on their own. Selection depends on how your skin responds under load and conditions.

Oil :
Penetrates the skin surface. Used when dryness and cracking are the primary concern. Often applied during rest periods.
Wax :
Sits closer to the surface. Used to moderate friction and moisture loss. Applied before or between work sessions.

How we make it

These products are developed by observing skin under repeated stress, not by fitting into existing categories.
Formulations are produced in small batches using short ingredient lists chosen for tolerance and repeat use.
No ingredient is added for fragrance, colour, or cosmetic appeal. Adjustments are made through field use, not assumptions.

Frequently asked questions

Is Monkey Skin cosmetic skin care?

No. Appearance, softness, and sensory experience are not design goals.

Is Monkey Skin only for climbers?

Monkey Skin is built for individuals whose hands are a working tool: climbers, builders, trainers, manual laborers, athletes dealing with repeated skin stress.
It exists to support skin that must keep working under load.

Does it make hands soft?

Softness is not a target outcome. Surface integrity and tolerance are.

Can this replace rest or recovery?

No. Continued work on failing skin increases the risk of deeper injury.

Can it be used on other body parts?

It is formulated for hands. Use elsewhere has not been validated.

Why is there no added fragrance or colour?

No ingredient is included unless it changes how the skin behaves under use.

Where is Monkey Skin made?

Produced in small batches under controlled conditions.

Is it organic or certified natural?

Certification is not the design driver. Ingredient behavior and tolerance are.
